Pushkin (formerly Tsarskoe Selo) is a small St. Petersburg's suburb, site of former imperial summer residence known for its main attraction Catherine Palace with astonishing park and gardens around, the perfect piece of baroque and classical architecture dated from the eighteenth to early twentieth centuries. Catherine Palace built with azure walls, white columns and more than 100 kilograms of gold to gild the sophisticated stucco facade features the world- famous unique Amber Room reconstructed after WWII with decorations over 450 kilograms amber  panels backed with  gold  leafs and  mirrors as well as The Golden Enfilade of state rooms used for receptions, balls and official functions held by the Royal family.
The Catherine Park named after the Catherine Palace consists of the Regular Old Garden and the Landscape English Garden. More than a hundred different sculptures, pavilions, including the Cameron Gallery and the Cold Bath pavilion, bridges, marble monuments, ponds and exotic structures built to pay tribute to Gothic, Turkish and Chinese architecture can be discovered through walking this grand romantic park with our guide.
